Loukey Loot is named after my grandcat Lucaya, Loukey for short. She will also respond to Stinky, because she's spoiled rotten.
Loukey is the only survivor of her litter. Our family volunteers with a fabulous local rescue who focuses on homebound fostering. Her mom came from a kill shelter that is too small to become a no kill, so, they rely on groups like ours to pull them out.
Born early, Lucaya and her two sisters were smaller and not quite ready for the outside world. We lost the smallest one first, then her other sister leaving us with only her. Keeping her alive became a labor of love as we noticed she was a little awkward in her early stages.
When she was old enough, she joined the rescue during one of our kitten showers. I cannot count how many times I was asked what is wrong with her. She had trembles and didn't balance too well. In part to being born early and still developing neurologically, she later was diagnosed with Cereberall Hypoplasia, CH, otherwise known as wobbly kitten syndrome.
We spent a good chunk of her first few months doing vestibular exercises to help her brain counteract some it's craziness. Today she does very well, though she has clear signs of mild symptoms. She leaps and bounds like a deer and runs sideways. She also leaps as though she is hovering halfway through for a brief moment.
It's quite enjoyable to see her quirks. So much so, that my oldest son insisted no one else would understand her the way we do, and we couldn't adopt her out. That's when we decided he could keep her.
After all of that, of course she is so endearing to us that I always want to spoil her. She inspired our adventure into resin for cute cat ideas, and it has grown from there.
Currently we do not offer custom orders, but we are happy to hear from you about your thoughts and ideas.
When we have room, we take in a foster or two. We then love on our adorable babies until we adopt them to furever families. Much of our personal funds go towards necessities to keep these little ones thriving. You can be confident when you purchase from us, you're also helping us in our rescue efforts. Any bit helps, especially when you donate directly to the rescue.

Donations to the above link do not go to us or through us. They go directly to the rescue so they can be spread to the fosters with different needs than our own, such as advanced medical care. Or to our bottle babies who are low on formula too.
